TINA – The Tina Turner Musical played Perth in February 2024, and that season has ended. The official production site says the Perth season sold out and that the Australian national tour is complete. It is not the same event as What’s TINA Got to Do With It!, a separate Perth Festival tribute held in 2026.
Is TINA – The Tina Turner Musical playing in Perth now?
No. The Perth season took place in February 2024 and is no longer on sale. Ticketmaster’s listing shows no October 2026 events, while the official production site says the Australian national tour has completed and the Perth season sold out. Those past listings do not establish any future Perth dates.
The title can be confused with What’s TINA Got to Do With It!, a distinct Tina Turner tribute-style event at Perth Town Hall on 28 February 2026 in the Perth Festival program. It was not the musical. Perth Festival’s event page describes that separate gathering as a chance to “Gather your crew, warm up those vocal cords and get ready to sing, scream and shimmy the night away.”
What is the musical about?
Developed by Stage Entertainment in collaboration with Tina Turner, the musical follows her life from Nutbush, Tennessee, to international stardom. Its story is told through songs including “River Deep, Mountain High,” “We Don’t Need Another Hero (Thunderdome),” “Proud Mary,” “The Best,” and “What’s Love Got to Do With It.”
#1 Best Overall
The production credits Phyllida Lloyd as director, with Katori Hall, Frank Ketelaar, and Kees Prins as writers. Anthony van Laast choreographed the show, and Nicholas Skilbeck served as musical supervisor. Turner died on 24 May 2023; the production is dedicated to her memory.
The official site reports that more than 8 million people have seen the show globally, without specifying when that total was reached. It also says the first UK and Ireland tour drew over 600,000 people during its March 2025–April 2026 run. The site credits the Broadway production with 12 Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, but does not provide a separate year for that figure.

Age recommendation and content warnings
Ticketmaster recommends the production for ages 14 and up. Its listing warns of scenes involving domestic violence, sexual abuse, firearms, drug use, coarse language and racial language. It also flags strobe lighting, loud music, theatrical haze, and simulated cigarette smoking. Consider these warnings when deciding whether the show is suitable for a young person or anyone sensitive to these subjects or effects.
Tickets, authorised sellers and access information
Ticketmaster’s listing names Ticketmaster and TodayTix as authorised sellers and cautions that tickets purchased through unauthorised resale sites may not be valid. This is information from the past Perth listing, not evidence that tickets are available now.

The same listing refers to wheelchair and attendant seating and notes stairs in the auditorium. Because the Perth season has passed, those notes should not be treated as current venue arrangements for a future performance. Check the official event and venue information if another engagement is announced. Ticketmaster also notes that casting is not guaranteed for a particular performance.

The available official and ticketing pages do not establish the exact 2024 performance dates, venue, or local cast details. Do not assume those details from a production run in another city. For any future Perth engagement, confirm the dates, venue, accessible seating, authorised seller, ticket terms, and suitability information on current official listings.
