It is a distinct release from the eight-episode third season that premiered on ViX in 2025.
What “sem censura” means for Mujeres Asesinas
The phrase points to a home-video release, not a newly released cut of the series. In a 27 August 2011 report, El Informador described the season 3 DVD as containing the original episodes with scenes not shown on open television, as well as alternate endings. The report named producer Pedro Torres and several cast members, including Belinda, Dulce María, Cinthya Klitbo, Maite Perroni, Isabella Camil, Kika Édgar, and Aleida Núñez.

Torres discussed how scenes were edited for broadcast: “El corte de las escenas íntimas entre ellas para mí es una depura, no una censura, la televisión abierta tiene sus códigos de ética y nos gusta seguir las buenas costumbres”. That is his comment about this production and open-television edits; it is not a general definition of censorship.

Where to look for the DVD or streaming season
Finding the 2011 DVD
A search for “Mujeres Asesinas 3 DVD” may help locate the physical edition described in the 2011 report. Current stock has not been confirmed. Before buying, check that a listing is actually the season 3 DVD and review its seller, language, and region compatibility; the report does not establish which DVD regions or players are compatible.

Checking ViX
TelevisaUnivision’s 2025 announcement identifies ViX as the release platform for its newer third season. ViX’s catalog page presents Mujeres Asesinas 3 as drama/crime and TV-MA. A catalog listing does not establish that the title is playable in every country, so check the platform in your location.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why some descriptions say “sin cortes”
A Portuguese-language fan blog published on 27 August 2011 used the phrase “sem cortes e sem censura” and mentioned 14 episodes, alternate endings, censored scenes, and deleted scenes. That post cites Esmas, but its episode count is not independently confirmed by El Informador’s stronger contemporaneous report. The better-supported description is narrower: the DVD was reported to include scenes not shown on open television and alternate endings.
