AEW’s August 13, 2025 episode of Dynamite put MJF back into the AEW World Championship picture: he confronted champion Hangman Adam Page, announced his plan to use his guaranteed title shot at Forbidden Door, and later attacked Page. That establishes a return to a prominent storyline role—not that MJF was medically recovered or physically “back to full power.”
What happened to MJF on AEW Dynamite?
In its official recap of Dynamite on August 13, 2025, AEW reported that MJF confronted AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page and said he would execute his guaranteed championship-shot contract at Forbidden Door. The recap also reports that MJF attacked Page in the parking lot.
Those events show MJF being positioned in a major title storyline on that date. The contract announcement and attack are on-screen story developments; they are not statements about his health.
Does this confirm MJF is “back to full power”?
No. The August 13 recap does not assess MJF’s physical condition, medical clearance, or readiness to compete. It also does not document the duration or nature of the “months of struggle” referenced in the headline. Without a recent, attributable statement or report addressing those matters, “back to full power” should be understood as headline or storyline language, not a verified medical update.

The dated distinction matters: AEW’s recap can establish what the promotion presented on that episode, but it cannot establish MJF’s present-day condition. A current status claim would need a recent source that directly addresses his health or ability to wrestle.
