Does Argylle have a post-credits scene?
Spoilers for the credits: The film has a mid-credits scene, followed by an end-credits title card. So there is more than one reason to stay through the credits, but the two teases are distinct.

The mid-credits scene
The scene introduces a young Aubrey Argylle, played by Louis Partridge. He enters a bar called King’s Man and receives a recruitment offer, linking the tease to the Kingsman franchise. Première’s description of the scene reports those details.
The final title card
After the scene, an end-credits card reads “Book One The Movie – Coming Soon.” That wording hints at another installment, but by itself it does not establish that a film was approved or scheduled. The credits listing reports the card.

What is happening with Argylle 2?
Vaughn discussed two possible directions in 2024: an origin story about how Argylle became a spy, and a more direct “proper Argylle movie” featuring Henry Cavill. They are different story concepts, not two confirmed projects.

Vaughn said continuing depended on audience response. GamesRadar+, reporting his comments, quoted him saying, “So that is up to the public, if they give us a thumbs up, we will give them another one.” He also said he would like to continue and believed the actors would, too. The 2024 interview coverage described the films as not yet in production at that time.
The evidence available here does not establish whether a sequel has since been greenlit, entered production, received a release date, or been cancelled. The accurate answer is therefore that Argylle 2 remains unconfirmed by the available reporting—not that the 2024 ideas amount to a sequel announcement.

Apple announced a February 2, 2024 theatrical release in partnership with Universal Pictures, followed by streaming on Apple TV+. Apple later announced an April 12, 2024 global Apple TV+ debut. Its March announcement said U.S. and Canadian premium video-on-demand and digital purchase availability would begin March 5, 2024. Why the opening weekend does not settle the sequel question
The Associated Press reported an estimated $18 million in U.S. and Canadian ticket sales for the opening weekend in 2024. That is a historical opening-weekend estimate, not a complete measure of the film’s economics or evidence of whether a sequel will happen. The AP report noted the film’s franchise ambitions, but the figure does not establish the sequel’s current status.
