Rita Ora guessed Gordon Ramsay. The chef costume and a clue tied to MasterChef made the guess plausible—but Spaghetti & Meatballs was revealed as Joe Bastianich.
Why Rita Ora guessed Gordon Ramsay
On the March 20, 2024 episode of The Masked Singer, Ora focused on the contestant’s chef outfit and a “master” clue that she connected to MasterChef. That led her to Ramsay, the celebrity chef associated with the television series. The guess was not a confirmed identity, and Ramsay was not the person under the mask. Us Weekly’s March 19 preview reported Ora’s reasoning.
Who was Spaghetti & Meatballs?
The contestant was Joe Bastianich, the restaurateur and MasterChef judge. The connection to the show was close: Ora had picked up on a relevant television clue, but guessed the wrong chef. Parade’s March 20 recap confirmed the reveal.
How the other guesses differed
The panel’s other guesses reflected different parts of the clues rather than a single obvious answer. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg chose Guy Fieri, drawing on Italian and car imagery; Robin Thicke guessed Stanley Tucci based on the Italian associations. The reported clue package also included a Wall Street background and a successful television show reference, details that fit Bastianich’s career better in retrospect than the costume alone did.
