Amazon’s announcement names 15 games and game properties that inspired its 15 stories—but it does not provide a complete roster of individual game characters appearing on screen. Here are the confirmed inspirations, using the announcement’s wording.
The 15 games and worlds inspiring Secret Level
Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios named these properties as inspirations for the anthology’s stories. The announcement does not say that its list follows episode order, so the sequence below should not be read as an episode guide.
- Armored Core
- Concord
- Crossfire
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Exodus
- Honor of Kings
- Mega Man
- New World: Aeternum
- PAC-MAN
- Various PlayStation Studios games
- Sifu
- Spelunky
- The Outer Worlds
- Unreal Tournament
- Warhammer 40,000
The grouped phrase “various PlayStation Studios games” is the studio announcement’s wording; it does not name specific PlayStation titles in that item. Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios’ announcement identifies all 15 as inspirations for the anthology’s stories.
What the announcement confirms—and what it doesn’t
The sources establish that Secret Level is an adult-animated anthology of original stories set in game worlds, and that 15 properties inspired its 15 stories. Prime Video’s series listing also shows 15 episodes. They do not establish a comprehensive list of individual game characters, or an authoritative mapping of every property to an episode title or number. The property list is therefore a reliable answer to “Which game worlds are featured?” but not a verified character-by-character cast list.

One confirmed setting detail: New World: Aeternum
Amazon Games confirms that New World: Aeternum is among the featured properties and describes Aeternum as a mysterious island outside of time. That identifies the setting inspiration; it does not, by itself, establish which game characters appear in the episode. Amazon Games’ announcement provides the setting description.
Release-date listings differ by source
The studio announcement says Secret Level “arrives on Prime Video December 10.” The Prime Video listing cited here is localized for Latin America and displays an episode date of December 16, 2024. Those are source-specific statements, not a single unqualified date for every territory; localized availability and episode metadata can vary.
