The baptism dispute
The longer episode description specifies the source of the conflict: Mary and Audrey each try to ensure that CeeCee is baptized in their own denomination. The title’s reference to Baptists and Catholics points to this religious disagreement, while the description’s central family tension is between the new baby’s grandmothers.
Sheldon’s computer problem
Alongside the family storyline, Sheldon is upset after his dormmate makes a change to his computer. It is a separate subplot from the dispute over CeeCee and the wedding.

Is “Mary Has a New Enemy” the official episode title?
No. “Mary Has a New Enemy” appears in a Recapify video title published April 2, 2024, but the available video description does not establish that Mary gains a new enemy or verify that framing as a plot fact. The episode listing identifies the installment as “Baptists, Catholics and an Attempted Drowning.” Treat “new enemy” as headline wording, not the official title.
