Who directed and wrote Mending the Line?
Joshua Caldwell directed the film and is also credited as a producer by Sony Pictures Australia. Stephen Camelio wrote the screenplay and is likewise listed as a producer. Sony Australia also names Carl Effenson, Kelly McKendry and Scott Macleod as producers.

In a Directors Guild of America Q&A dated June 24, 2023, following a Los Angeles membership screening, Caldwell discussed the need for an experienced crew. Asked about making the film safely within its shooting schedule, he said: “I knew that in order to get this movie right, safely and in the can with the shooting schedule that we had, I needed a team with experience.” The Q&A was moderated by director Bryan Woods.
