“Changing” is now Kevin Jonas’s first solo single
Hollywood Records released “Changing” on November 20, 2025, as Jonas’s first solo single. The label’s dated release announcement credits Mark Schick and Jason Evigan as producers. The label’s later artist-background copy names Jason Evigan, so the two-producer credit here is specific to the November 20 announcement rather than a claim that the label’s copy is consistent.

- The Jonas Brothers took the world by storm in 2019 with the surprise release of their critically acclaimed and widely successful single "Sucker" following a six-year hiatus
Hollywood Records also reported that the single passed 10 million streams “out of the gate.” The accessible label copy does not give a measurement date, so this is an early milestone reported by the label—not a verified current stream count. The label lists Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Spotify as listening options; availability can vary by service and location.
What Kevin Jonas says the song is about
Jonas has described “Changing” as a positive reminder that life keeps moving and that people can keep working to improve. Hollywood Records characterizes the track with a steady beat, guitar-led, breezy chords, a high-register hook, and a guitar solo.

- Greetings From Your Hometown is the brand-new album from the Jonas Brothers, releasing on Republic Records
One lyric image gives the idea a plainspoken shape: cold coffee represents recognizing when something has gone stale. Jonas put the broader message this way: “Life keeps changing, and the song is a positive reinforcement of that idea.”

In a November 25, 2025 recap of his appearance on Hits 1’s The Morning Mash Up, SiriusXM reported that Jonas felt an immediate connection while singing the song. “The minute I sang ‘Changing’, I knew it was the one,” he said in Hollywood Records’ artist background. He also told SiriusXM that recording it was the first time he felt good about his own vocal. “It just instantly felt like my song … It felt like it was a part of me,” he said.

He described his brothers’ support as “immaculate and great.” SiriusXM’s recap says Jonas chose to debut the song live because he wanted it to connect with people.
