Canada’s Wonderland and Cedar Point are next, tied at 18 under the ranking’s count rule, which excludes defunct or closed rides and water slides. These are dated counts from a secondary compilation, not a uniform official census; Cedar Point’s own media page, for example, lists 19 roller coasters.
Which theme park has the most roller coasters?
In ThrillZing’s September 2026 ranking, Energylandia has the highest count: 19 operating roller coasters. Its list counts rides guests can ride and excludes defunct rides, rides that are standing but closed, and water slides. Why coaster counts can differ
Cedar Point: 18 in the ranking, 19 on its official media page
ThrillZing counts 18 operating coasters at Cedar Point. Six Flags Entertainment Corporation’s official media description says the park has 67 rides, including 19 roller coasters. Those figures should not be blended into one number: they come from different sources and may use different definitions or reflect different dates. Hersheypark: water coaster included in the broad total
Hersheypark’s 2026 guide describes 15 “mild to wild” coasters, then distinguishes 14 roller coasters from one water coaster. ThrillZing lists 14 operating roller coasters. Operating inventory versus an advertised total
A park’s total rides or advertised coaster inventory does not necessarily match the number of coasters operating on a particular date. Rides can open, close, undergo maintenance, or be classified differently. ThrillZing’s method excludes rides that are standing but closed, while official park descriptions may publish a broader headline inventory. What the rankings tell you—and what they do not
A higher count means more coasters are listed under the source’s criteria; it does not establish that a park has more intense rides or a better lineup. Counts also do not tell you which attractions will be operating during your visit. For trip planning, check the park’s official calendar and attraction information for your dates rather than relying on a ranked list.
Energylandia’s official English ticket page lists 2026 seasonal admission, one-, two- and three-day ticket options, and separate discounted admission categories. Its official attraction directory groups rides under a rollercoaster heading, but the reviewed directory does not provide a dated total that independently confirms the 19-coaster figure.
