There is no reliably verified current salary table for The Walking Dead cast. The most specific figures available are older media reports tied to particular seasons—not confirmed contract disclosures or a guide to what actors earn today. A 2017 report put Andrew Lincoln at about $92,000 per episode for season six, then cited later reports of about $618,000 for seasons seven and eight. It placed Norman Reedus at about $550,000 per episode ahead of season eight, while noting that earlier reports disagreed.
What salary figures have been reported?
ComicBook.com’s November 9, 2017 article is the clearest dated source for the commonly repeated numbers. It attributes them to reports rather than published contracts, so they should be read as historical claims, not verified pay records.

| Actor | Reported figure | Season or timing | What the report establishes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Andrew Lincoln | About $92,000 per episode | Season six | ComicBook.com described this as his approximate pay at the time. Source |
| Andrew Lincoln | About $618,000 per episode | Seasons seven and eight | The article said later reports put him around this amount; it did not provide a contract disclosure. Source |
| Norman Reedus | About $550,000 per episode | Ahead of season eight | The article described this as a reported figure, not a confirmed contract rate. Source |
| Norman Reedus | $80,000 or $124,000 per episode | Earlier reports; season not specified | ComicBook.com noted that older reports varied between these amounts. Source |
The season-six and later Lincoln figures are not interchangeable: they refer to different periods, and the higher amount is attributed to subsequent reporting. Nor does the article establish that any per-episode figure captures the actors’ full compensation, such as bonuses or other terms.
Why do online salary lists disagree?
Some pages repeat numbers without making their dates or sourcing clear. For example, an undated Canal 5 / Televisa page, attributing its information to Primicias YA, lists Lincoln at $92,000 and Reedus at $124,000 per episode. The page does not establish when those figures applied, and its Reedus number conflicts with the later season-eight-era figure reported by ComicBook.com. It is evidence that different numbers circulated—not a current or definitive pay table. Canal 5 / Televisa

When assessing a salary claim, check what season or contract period it refers to, whether the source calls it reported or estimated, and whether it traces the figure to an original disclosure or merely repeats another publication. The reports available here do not establish comparable contract terms for the cast.
What is known about the rest of the cast?
The 2017 article did not give definitive per-episode figures for several other series regulars. It also characterized some cast figures as estimates based on estimated net worth. Those estimates are not equivalent to disclosed salaries, and they do not support a reliable cast ranking or a calculation of lifetime earnings.

Has AMC disclosed the actors’ salaries?
No named salary statistic from an original studio source, actor contract, regulator, or other primary source was located in the material available for this article. AMC’s SEC filing and official biographies do not disclose individual cast pay. That means the exact current compensation, full contract packages, bonuses, and per-episode rates for all regular cast members remain unverified.
Where can viewers watch the series?
AMC Global Media’s Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 describes a co-exclusive global streaming license with Netflix for shows in the Walking Dead universe. AMC retains the right to exhibit those shows on its own services; the filing says US co-exclusive streaming rights for the original The Walking Dead begin January 6, 2027. This is a dated rights schedule, not information about cast compensation. AMC’s Form 10-Q
