A May 18, 2009 entry in the Howard Stern Show archive says Kimmel stopped by and discussed a weekend he and his cousin Sal had spent at Stern’s Hamptons home. The account includes Stern joking about getting up early while Kimmel stayed over. 2012: Kimmel visits the Stern Show studio
On May 14, 2012, Kimmel was in New York to host ABC’s Upfronts and spent time in Stern’s studio, according to the show’s dated archive entry. ABC’s official September 29, 2026 episode listing for Jimmy Kimmel Live! says Stern discussed vacationing with Jimmy and Molly, among other topics. The Daily Beast’s report on Stern’s appearance quotes him telling Kimmel, “We went away this summer, and you were kind enough to invite me.” That is Stern’s account as reported by a secondary outlet; the available public record does not independently verify the trip’s details.

Do Stern and Kimmel spend time together outside work?
There is evidence that they have. The 2009 Hamptons weekend and Stern’s 2026 remark about going away with Kimmel point to social time beyond their professional appearances.
