In a June 4, 2026, Actors on Actors conversation, Kudrow and Aniston discussed their Friends memories, current work and the possibility of doing another multi-camera sitcom. Their conversation was exploratory; it is not confirmation that a new sitcom is in production. Variety’s interview covers the discussion.
Matt LeBlanc
LeBlanc played Joey Tribbiani. The confirmed information here establishes his place in the original ensemble, but not a detailed current project slate. It would be inaccurate to infer from that gap that he has retired or is inactive.

Perry died in 2023. For Cox, LeBlanc and Schwimmer, the information cited here confirms their Friends roles but does not establish enough about current work to make specific claims.
A CinemaBlend report published October 4, 2026, said the surviving cast members did not participate in an upcoming documentary about Perry. That is secondary reporting, not an official statement from the cast, and should be treated as a report rather than a confirmed collective position. CinemaBlend’s account describes its report.
