The Hardys defeated Team 3D in a Tables Match at TNA Bound For Glory 2025, retaining both the TNA World Tag Team Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship. After the match, Bully Ray and D-Von left their boots in the ring—a gesture TNA described as signifying their retirement from in-ring competition.
Who faced off in the final match?
The teams were The Hardys—Matt and Jeff Hardy—and Team 3D, made up of Bully Ray and D-Von. The match took place at TNA Bound For Glory on October 12, 2025, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. TNA’s match announcement established the bout, while its official event results record what happened.
What happened at Bound For Glory?
TNA made the bout a Tables Match. The TNA World Tag Team Championship was initially announced as being at stake; before the event, The Hardys also won the NXT Tag Team Championship. Both championships were defended in the final match. The Hardys won and retained both titles, according to TNA’s Bound For Glory results.
Did Team 3D retire?
After the match, The Hardys helped Bully Ray and D-Von to their feet. Team 3D then left their boots in the ring. TNA’s event recap says the gesture signified retirement from in-ring competition. That describes the signal made after this match; it does not establish anything about the team’s plans outside the ring.

Why was it billed as one final battle?
The match followed a challenge from Bully Ray after The Hardys won the TNA tag team titles at Slammiversary in July 2025. In its pre-event coverage, The Sportster, syndicated by Yardbarker, reported that Bully Ray named D-Von as his partner. That coverage also noted fan speculation about Edge & Christian, but it did not confirm their involvement; the announced and documented Bound For Glory match was The Hardys against Team 3D.
Where can you watch the match?
When promoting Bound For Glory, TNA said the event would be available live on pay-per-view and TNA+. Current replay availability is not confirmed. Check TNA’s official event information or TNA+ for current access details.
