Those dates have passed, so this is a March 2026 retrospective—not a preview of what is coming in March 2027. For a documentary pick, add Mr. Scorsese, highlighted in one outlet’s March roundup.
New Apple TV+ shows and returning seasons from March 2026
Apple’s release announcements establish the dates and premises below; they do not amount to independent judgments about quality. The selections are best treated as starting points by mood rather than an objective ranking.
Imperfect Women — a psychological thriller
Premiering March 18, 2026, Imperfect Women adapts Araminta Hall’s novel. Its story follows a crime affecting three women whose friendship stretches back many years. Choose it if you want a contemporary, relationship-centered mystery with psychological tension rather than science fiction or a documentary.
For All Mankind, season five — space drama
The fifth season premiered March 27, 2026. Apple’s synopsis continues after the Goldilocks asteroid heist, as a growing settlement on Mars intensifies tensions between Mars and Earth. It is the returning-season choice for viewers who want speculative history, space exploration, and political conflict. New viewers may prefer to start with season one to follow the ongoing story.

Where to watch
Apple says Apple TV is available through its app on Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, game consoles, Android, and the web. Apple TV 4K is optional hardware, not a requirement for watching the service. Apple’s U.S. service page lists a subscription at $14.99 per month after a seven-day trial; price and offers can vary by purchase route and may change. Check the terms shown for your region before subscribing. Apple describes its service as the home of Apple Originals, with new releases weekly and no ads; that is Apple’s own description, not an independent assessment.
