Swift and Kelce were spotted watching performances on Coachella’s second day in April 2024, including sets by Bleachers and Ice Spice. Coverage described Swift’s cap as green and branded “New Heights,” a reference to the podcast hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother Jason.
Rolling Stone Canada’s April 14 report identified the podcast reference. Us Weekly’s April 16 coverage described a backstage photo posted by Bleachers drummer Sean Hutchinson and called Swift’s hat dark green.
What Travis and Jason Kelce said about the cap
On the April 17, 2024 episode of New Heights, Travis acknowledged Swift’s support without naming her in the quoted exchange. As reported by ELLE, he said, “She’s supporting the New Heights.” Jason joked, “Big New Heights supporter, sold out of the green hat real quick.” Travis added, “It’s a good, it’s a good color green.”

The exchange is the clearest public explanation of the moment: Travis connected the cap to support for the podcast. It does not establish anything beyond that acknowledgment about Swift’s private intentions.
Was the green New Heights hat sold to the public?
The retail history is more complicated than the quick sellout joke suggests. On April 15, Sports Illustrated reported that green hats were not then available in the New Heights merchandise store and noted uncertainty about whether Swift wore an older Kelce hat or a version made for her.

Startland News reported on April 19 that Sandlot Goods made New Heights hats for Homage through an exclusive partnership. The green hat Swift wore was believed to be a one-off prototype. After demand surged, Homage opened a presale for New Heights hats.
Garret Prather, Sandlot Goods’ vice president of strategic partnerships, told Startland News: “The green one was never moved to a retail offering. But then she wore it — I believe it’s the same one that Travis wore for filming the podcast the week before — and here we are.” He also described the demand on Homage’s site as “kind of bananas” and said, “Within the first hour, there were already thousands sold.” That is a reported description, not an exact sales count.

What the cap’s history means for shoppers
The 2024 presale does not show that the exact green prototype Swift wore is available now. Nor does the historical reporting establish that a current marketplace listing, including one on Amazon, is official. Anyone looking for the hat should check the current seller, branding, and availability rather than assume a listing is authorized or matches the prototype.
