Footage reported from what appeared to be Donald Trump’s Super Bowl watch party showed Bad Bunny’s official halftime performance playing on screens. That does not confirm Trump personally watched it or how much attention he paid. The Daily Beast described the footage on February 9, 2026; the Associated Press reported that Trump had said he would not watch the performance.
What was playing on the screens at Trump’s watch party?
The Daily Beast reported on February 9, 2026, that video circulating online from what appeared to be Trump’s watch party at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach showed Bad Bunny’s performance on several screens. Trump was visible in the clip, seated at a table with Senator Lindsey Graham. The report establishes what appeared on the venue’s screens, not what Trump personally watched.
Bad Bunny was the official Super Bowl LX halftime performer. The Associated Press described his show as centered on unity and featuring songs from his 2025 album Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
Did Trump personally watch Bad Bunny?
That remains unconfirmed by the cited reports. The Associated Press reported that Trump skipped the Super Bowl and said he would not watch Bad Bunny’s performance. It also reported that he criticized the show afterward on Truth Social, writing: “The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!” A stated intention not to watch and a later reaction do not establish what he saw at a private gathering or whether he watched attentively.

Did Trump watch the Kid Rock alternative show?
There is no evidence in the cited coverage that Trump watched it. Turning Point USA arranged a separate alternative performance headlined by Kid Rock. The Daily Beast reported that it was unclear whether Trump’s party screened that performance. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told the outlet, “I think the president would much prefer a Kid Rock performance over Bad Bunny,” but that comment does not show what played at the party or what Trump watched.
