What does the coat look like, and what is it made of?
The men’s listing describes a hooded coat with four wooden toggles and jute loops, a buttoned throat latch, two front waist patch pockets, and an embroidered Pony. It also has an American flag patch and a U.S. Olympic Team logo patch. The shell is 100% wool; the fill is 100% recycled polyester. The listed care instruction is dry clean, and the coat is marked “Made in USA.”
How does it fit into the Opening Ceremony uniform?
In its uniform announcement dated December 4, 2025, Ralph Lauren paired the winter-white wool coat with an American flag intarsia wool turtleneck sweater and tailored wool trousers. The company said the Ralph Lauren Team USA Collection would be available beginning that day in select U.S. locations. That was the announced launch plan, not confirmation of current inventory. The Associated Press reported on the reveal the same day. Ralph Lauren Corporation Chief Branding and Innovation Officer David Lauren described the intended ambition for the design: “We are creating something that we know has to become timeless and has to be something that people will wear forever and appreciate forever.” That is the company’s design intent, not evidence of popularity or tested durability.
