Spirit Crossing is no longer merely “coming to Netflix”: Spry Fox says the cozy cooperative village life sim is open to everyone in Alpha. The game is still being developed, and players using Netflix Login face a migration deadline: save a Progress Migration Code by October 22, 2026, then activate it on another platform by November 29, 2026, to keep progress.
What is Spirit Crossing?
Spirit Crossing is a cooperative life sim and cozy MMO from Spry Fox, the studio behind Cozy Grove. Its central idea is to build up a village with other players: nurture and decorate homes, gather resources, make friends, and take part in shared social activities. Netflix’s original announcement also described riding “fluffaloback,” gliding, climbing, building, trampolining, dance parties and jam sessions as part of the game’s vision. Those are announcement-era descriptions; the experience is still in development, so features can change.
Netflix introduced Spry Fox as a studio joining Netflix in 2022. Co-founder Daniel Cook described the studio’s goal as “to make the world a happier place for people playing our games” in Netflix’s announcement.
Is Spirit Crossing released?
It is publicly accessible, but it is not a finished release. Spry Fox says the game is officially open to everyone and remains in Alpha. The developer cautions that the game may change substantially and that the current build may not represent the final product. See Spry Fox’s access and Alpha information.

What Netflix players must do before October 22, 2026
Spry Fox’s migration notice, updated September 24, 2026, says Netflix Login will no longer be supported after October 22, 2026. To keep progress, save your Progress Migration Code by October 22 and activate it on another platform by November 29, 2026. Follow the developer’s migration instructions for the steps and current details.

- Check your displayed name: After migration, your player name uses your Steam profile name.
How much does Spirit Crossing cost?
Netflix mobile play requires an active Netflix subscription. For Steam, Spry Fox lists a planned price of US$29.99 with a planned 20% launch discount, and says currency pricing will be adjusted. This is a pricing plan, not confirmation of the live checkout price; check the developer’s pricing notice and Steam listing for current terms.
Spry Fox says the game currently has no real-money purchases. It may add light optional item sales in the future, with the stated intention that purchases remain nice-to-have rather than required. Details are in the developer’s monetization FAQ.

Can Spirit Crossing progress be wiped?
Yes. Spry Fox says progress wipes are possible during Alpha and Beta, and that it will give advance notice before planned wipes. The developer does not say that a wipe is currently scheduled. See its progress-wipe FAQ.
