The short Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer clips appeared online on March 17, 2026, in a coordinated rollout involving fans and influencers around the world. The complete trailer followed on March 18, so the “tomorrow” in the original announcement referred to that date—not an upcoming release. The film is now available through major digital retailers, according to Sony Pictures.
How the trailer clips were released
Rather than posting one complete trailer at once, Sony and Marvel distributed seconds-long excerpts through fans and influencers across the world. GamesRadar+ described the campaign as unfolding over 24 hours, with individual clips appearing during March 17 before the full trailer arrived the following day. GamesRadar+’s live report and ComicBook.com’s contemporaneous roundup document the rollout.
GamesRadar+ reported Tom Holland saying, “Without that incredible community, there would be no Spider-Man.” The outlet attributed the statement to Holland during his trailer announcement.
What appeared in the clips
ComicBook.com’s roundup described a mix of action and character moments, including:
#1 Best Overall
- The "Spider-Man" trilogy features the three critically- acclaimed "Spider-Man" films directed by Sam Raimi. Follow Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) in these three adventures as he swings into action fighting super-villains Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Sandman and Venom and wins the heart of Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst).
- Spider-Man rescuing a bystander in a shot framed as a recreation of Amazing Fantasy #15.
- Peter Parker without his suit, followed by a moment in which he puts on his mask.
- A later excerpt in which Spider-Man is struck by a van driven by Jon Bernthal’s Punisher.
Those are descriptions of images in the clips, not confirmation of broader plot details. The roundup also offered theories about story elements and character motivations; those interpretations should not be treated as established facts.
