SEGA said it had added 13 shows to the Sonic Symphony World Tour in response to fan demand, but the announcement’s “New dates” section lists 11 performances. Those dates ran from September 15 to December 28, 2024, and are historical—not upcoming shows as of October 8, 2026. SEGA’s announcement is the source for both the stated count and the listed dates.
What new Sonic Symphony tour dates were added?
SEGA’s announcement lists the following dates under “New dates.” It names 11 city-and-venue entries, while describing the expansion as 13 additional shows. The release does not explain the difference between those figures.

The same release also listed previously announced June and July 2024 performances in Paris, New York, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Greensboro and San Diego. The dates and venues above come from SEGA’s announcement.
Why did SEGA add the shows?
SEGA described the expansion as a response to strong fan demand. At the time of the announcement, it said Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and New York shows had sold out, and that many upcoming stops had limited ticket availability. Those statements describe ticket conditions when the release was published; they do not establish current inventory.

What was the Sonic Symphony concert?
SEGA described Sonic Symphony as a multimedia concert built around more than three decades of Sonic franchise music. A symphony orchestra and full rock band performed selections while Sonic footage played on a large screen. The announcement noted varied setlists and appearances by composers Jun Senoue and Tomoya Ohtani. SEGA and soundtrec co-produced the production, with MGP Live presenting it worldwide.
The tour debuted at London’s Barbican Hall on September 16, 2023, followed by its U.S. premiere at Los Angeles’s Dolby Theatre on September 30, 2023. An earlier expansion included Cleveland on April 20, 2024, as well as Montreal, Portland, Milwaukee and other dates, according to Playhouse Square’s copy of an earlier SEGA announcement.

Is Sonic Symphony coming to your city now?
The dates in the 2024 announcement have passed. They should not be treated as a current tour schedule or as evidence of present ticket availability. SEGA’s later concert announcement concerns a separate production, Sonic Live In Concert, not a confirmed continuation or renaming of Sonic Symphony.
On May 27, 2026, SEGA announced Sonic Live In Concert dates in the United States beginning September 20, 2026, a London performance on September 30, further U.S. performances through November 1, and four UK dates in February 2027. The release originally scheduled ticket sales for May 29, 2026, with a presale on May 28. These are the dates and sale timings stated in that announcement; consult SEGA’s 2026 release and its linked official ticketing pages for any schedule changes and current availability.

The releases provide schedules and descriptions, but do not give an independently attributed attendance, revenue or ticket-sales total for the Sonic Symphony live tour. A figure of 5.8 million views mentioned in soundtrec’s company background refers to a different event: the 2021 Sonic the Hedgehog 30th Anniversary online concert. It is not a Sonic Symphony attendance statistic. The 2024 announcement points readers to tour merchandise but does not specify individual products or confirm present stock.
