Noushin Faraji’s January 2025 lawsuit alleged that Skip Bayless offered her $1.5 million for sex in 2021. That is an allegation in a civil complaint, not a court finding. Bayless later denied the allegations in a court filing, according to the Los Angeles Times.

What did Faraji’s lawsuit allege?

Faraji, a former Fox Sports hairstylist, filed a 42-page complaint in Los Angeles County Superior Court in January 2025. It named Bayless, Fox entities, Charlie Dixon and Joy Taylor, and included allegations of workplace misconduct as well as wage-and-hour claims on behalf of California workers.

The alleged offer

According to the complaint, Bayless asked Faraji to cut his hair weekly in the makeup room and began making unwanted physical contact. The complaint placed the alleged $1.5 million offer in July 2021, after Faraji told Bayless she was undergoing biopsies to determine whether she had cancer. It alleged that he offered the money for sex, that she refused, and that he made another advance about a week later.

The complaint described Faraji as trying to maintain a professional relationship with on-air talent: “Ms. Faraji knew that he was trying to pressure her into having sex with him, but she kept repeating that she was a professional that had to be kind to all talent,” it said. This is the plaintiff’s account, not a judicial finding.

How did Bayless and Fox respond?

Bayless’s response

The Associated Press reported on January 6, 2025, that Bayless could not be reached for comment at that time. He later denied “each and every allegation” in a court filing, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Fox’s response

In its January 2025 response to the AP, Fox Sports said it took the allegations seriously but had no further comment because litigation was pending. After the judge dismissed several individual claims in September 2025, Fox told the AP: “We are pleased that this matter has been resolved. There will be no further comment.” The statement did not disclose settlement terms.

What happened to the lawsuit?

The case involved individual claims as well as wage-related claims brought on behalf of California workers. The two tracks had different reported outcomes:

Claims Reported status
Several individual claims, including sexual battery, failure to prevent harassment and wrongful termination On September 4, 2025, the AP reported that a judge granted Faraji’s request to dismiss these claims because “those claims were resolved.” The order did not disclose settlement details.
Wage-and-hour and business-expense claims, including a request for class-action status The AP reported in September 2025 that these claims remained. LegalClarity reported on June 18, 2026, that the wage-related class claims were still pending and class certification had not been decided. That later status is secondary reporting; the cited reports do not establish whether anything changed after that date.

Was $1.5 million awarded or paid?

No. The $1.5 million figure refers to the amount Faraji’s complaint alleged Bayless offered for sex. The complaint sought unspecified damages; the figure is not a reported court award. The AP’s September 2025 account said the judge’s order did not disclose settlement details, so it does not establish that this amount—or any particular amount—was paid in a settlement.
