What did the fair say about the investigation?
In a statement quoted by KOAA News5, the Colorado State Fair said the incident was still under investigation and it could not comment further. Its subsequent update said fair police identified the man that night and referred charges in the case to the Pueblo County District Attorney’s office.
That referral is the last procedural status documented in the cited reporting. It does not establish that prosecutors filed charges, or that there was an arrest, plea, conviction, or final case outcome. The man’s identity was not publicly supplied in the reports, so he should not be named or treated as having been found guilty.
