Patina Miller married venture capitalist David Mars on June 14, 2014, in New York City. A later Playbill report places the ceremony in Long Island City, but the venue itself has not been identified in the cited coverage.

Miller and Mars married on June 14, 2014. Broadway.com described the ceremony as taking place in New York City, while Playbill later reported the more specific location of Long Island City. These descriptions are compatible; neither report names a venue.
Broadway.com’s June 16, 2014 report covered the wedding shortly after it happened. Playbill’s August 12, 2017 report later included the Long Island City location.

Miller played Commander Paylor in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay: Part 1. That role explains the connection in descriptions of her as a Hunger Games actress; it is separate from the story of how she met Mars.
