The Forbidden Island is a romance novel by Sara Seale, not a nature documentary or nonfiction book. It follows Lisa Chase, whose holiday in Scotland takes a troubling turn when she is confined on the remote fictional island of Culoran. The title’s “PDF | Nature” wording comes from a Scribd listing and does not establish the book’s genre or whether its uploaded PDF is authorized.
What is The Forbidden Island about?
Lisa Chase is on holiday in Scotland with David, her cousin, guardian, and intended husband. After David wrongs Catrina, the ward of island ruler Charles Kintyre, Lisa ends up effectively confined on Culoran. Her time there brings her into conflict and contact with Charles, while prompting her to examine her own feelings and reconsider where her heart lies.
Culoran is a fictional, isolated Scottish island community. The story’s mist-encircled landscape, castle, and residents’ sheep-farming and fishing livelihoods are elements of the novel’s setting, not descriptions of a real island.
Is it a romance novel or a nature book?
Catalog records classify the work as fiction and romance. Although the Scribd page labels the document “Nature,” that platform metadata is not evidence that the novel is nature nonfiction. The central plot is a relationship story involving Lisa, Charles, David, and Catrina.

These are cataloged editions, not confirmation that copies are currently in stock. When looking for a particular copy, match the ISBN as well as the format and edition date; a paperback and a large-print edition are not interchangeable.
Is the Scribd PDF an official edition?
The matching Scribd page is a user-uploaded document. Its presence on the platform does not verify that the PDF is publisher-authorized, nor does it establish that an official digital edition is currently available. The “PDF” label identifies the uploaded file format, not its rights status.
