The FAQ at mp3.tubidy.ke describes its service as a search engine for music and videos available from public sources across the web. It says the site does not host the files, and that users can search, stream, or download them. Those are claims about that specific site—not proof that every Tubidy-branded domain works the same way or that a result is authorized or safe.
What is Tubidy?
The FAQ on mp3.tubidy.ke describes Tubidy as a free multimedia search service that helps people find music and videos from publicly available sources. It says the service does not host the media itself. Its FAQ lists MP3 audio and MP4 video, while noting that formats depend on the original source; it also says the site works in desktop and mobile browsers without requiring an account or payment. These are the FAQ’s statements about that domain, not verified features of all sites using the Tubidy name.
A separate site, tubidy.ag, describes a flow of searching, choosing a result and format, then saving the file. It likewise says availability depends on the source and advises users to respect copyright. The available information does not establish that these sites share an owner, catalog, or policies.
How does downloading work?
On the workflow described by tubidy.ag, a user searches for media, selects a result, chooses an available format, and saves it. The mp3.tubidy.ke FAQ also describes search, streaming, and downloads. In either case, the result and format depend on the source. A listing or a working download link does not, by itself, show who supplied the file or whether the rightsholder authorized its distribution.

Is it legal to download music or videos from Tubidy?
Not automatically. The U.S. Copyright Office explains that downloading copyrighted works without authorization can infringe the owner’s reproduction or distribution rights under U.S. law. It states: “Whether or not a particular work is being made available under the authority of the copyright owner is a question of fact.” That means the fact that a work appears in search results—or can be downloaded—does not establish permission.
This explanation is limited to the U.S. Copyright Office’s guidance on U.S. law; it is not a legal conclusion for every country or every file. The mp3.tubidy.ke FAQ says users are responsible for ensuring that downloads comply with the laws in their country. Before downloading, look for clear evidence that the provider or rightsholder permits the specific use, and consider your local rules.

This supports choosing an authorized service as a category; it is not an endorsement of any particular provider.
Is Tubidy safe to use?
The mp3.tubidy.ke FAQ says safety can depend on the source because the site does not host the files. It advises using antivirus protection and avoiding suspicious download links. That is a general precaution from the FAQ, not evidence that a particular product makes a file safe. The available sources do not establish a tested malware rate for Tubidy or verify the safety of any specific file, app, domain, or device.

- Only obtain content you are authorized to download.
What information might a Tubidy site collect?
The privacy policy published on tubidy.cc says that its service may record an IP address, country, device and browser details, search terms, accessed or downloaded content, correspondence, and cookies. That statement applies to the policy for tubidy.cc. It cannot be assumed to describe the practices of mp3.tubidy.ke, tubidy.ag, or any other domain; check the policy on the exact site you use.
Why can’t I download a specific file?
Availability can depend on the source and the formats it provides, according to the mp3.tubidy.ke FAQ and tubidy.ag’s description. A result may therefore be unavailable, or may not offer the format you want. The sources do not establish a universal Tubidy catalog or a single troubleshooting procedure. If a link is missing or behaves suspiciously, do not try to bypass a restriction or install an unverified app; look for the work through an authorized source instead.

How to assess a download before you act
Compare the specific file or service on the points that matter, rather than relying on the Tubidy name alone:
- Permission: Is there clear evidence that the rightsholder or an authorized provider permits this download?
- Format and access: Does the service offer the format and offline access you need?
- Terms and location: Do the service’s terms and applicable local rules cover your intended use?
- Privacy and security: What does the exact domain’s current policy say, and does the download path avoid suspicious prompts?
The U.S. Copyright Office’s guidance supports distinguishing authorized services from files whose permission is unclear. Individual providers’ offerings, terms, and regional availability need to be checked directly.
