Prince William sent congratulations and good wishes to Truro City ahead of the club’s first National League season. The message was addressed to captain Connor Riley-Lowe and conveyed by William’s private secretary, Ian Patrick MBE. Truro said it arrived on 7 August 2025, during the period described as the Prince and Princess of Wales’s summer break; the reports do not establish where the couple were or what they were doing.
