People en Español’s 2024 “50 Más Bellos” feature, titled “A New Era,” is an interview-led celebrity package about personal and professional change. Its profiles include Ricky Martin, Adamari López, Clovis Nienow, Angélica Vale and seven other entertainers. The feature was updated July 9, 2024, so its comments and plans—including Martin’s hope to pursue films—belong to that moment, not necessarily to the present.
What “A New Era” means in the 2024 feature
People en Español frames a “new era” as a set of changing priorities, personal transitions and career possibilities. Rather than ranking the subjects by beauty or comparing them as contestants, the feature uses interviews to show how each person describes a new chapter.
The package was updated July 9, 2024, and credits Mayra Mangal, Moisés González, Lena Hansen and Leonela Taveras. Its profiles are Ricky Martin, Adamari López, Clovis Nienow, Maripily Rivera, Angélica Vale, Carolina Sandoval, Noelia Voigt, Chiquis, Karla Monroig, Carlos Calderón and Alejandro Chabán. What the profiles say about change
Ricky Martin: a long career and a possible next step
Martin reflects on a career spanning four decades and connects continuing to do the work he loves with experience and self-acceptance. He says, “Thanks to what I’ve learned, to everything I’ve experienced, to my passion for this career, to being able to accept myself and live my life the way I am, I’m still able to keep doing what I love most 40 years later.” The feature reports that he hoped his next step could be films; that is a hope expressed in a 2024 profile, not confirmation of a later project.

Adamari López: letting personality show
López describes caring less about clothing and appearance than she did when she was younger. “Before it was more about the physical: what I’m going to wear, how I’m going to look. Now, more and more, I allow what I’m like to come through.” This is her personal reflection, not advice or a prescription for readers.
Clovis Nienow: speaking about grief and mental health
Nienow discusses depression and anxiety in connection with losing his parents. He offers encouragement from his own experience: “To all the people who suffer from these things, I understand them and all I can tell them is ‘Courage. Keep moving forward. There’s nothing wrong with that.’” His remarks are a personal account, not clinical guidance.
