PARTYNEXTDOOR’s Fortnite experience was a limited-time interactive music event announced by Sony Music on July 31, 2025, and set to premiere August 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. ET. It took players from a virtual CN Tower in Toronto to a Miami performance and an afterparty setting. Sony’s announcement does not confirm that the experience is still playable in October 2026.
What was the PARTYNEXTDOOR Fortnite experience?
Sony Music described the event as a limited-time immersive concert experience developed with Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Immersive Music Studios, and OVO Sound. Rather than presenting only a performance, it paired artist-specific settings with activities players could take on along the route.
The experience was announced on July 31, 2025, for an August 1 premiere at 1:00 p.m. ET. Sony’s announcement is the source for its event details and framing: Sony Music’s announcement.
Where did the in-game journey go?
The virtual trip began at the top of Toronto’s CN Tower, connecting the experience to PARTYNEXTDOOR’s home city. Players then traveled by virtual private jet to South Beach in Miami for the show, before heading to an afterparty at a digital recreation of LIV at Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

What could players do?
Sony listed quests, scavenger hunts, minigames, and parkour levels as activities. These made the experience interactive beyond watching the performance, but the announcement does not specify how many challenges there were or how completion affected progression.

Can you still play it?
Current availability is unconfirmed. Sony called the experience limited-time and gave its August 1, 2025 premiere, but its announcement did not state an end date or verify ongoing access. A past premiere date is not evidence that the event can still be launched in Fortnite in October 2026.
Fortnite Festival is a separate mode, not another name for this PARTYNEXTDOOR event. Epic’s support page says Festival is not ending and that its Main Stage and Jam Stage music features will continue to be improved; that statement does not confirm access to the artist-specific experience.
