Filmed at Los Angeles’s Intuit Dome, it captures performances of songs from both GUTS and SOUR. The tour ended in summer 2025; Rodrigo’s next announced album and tour arrived in 2026.
What is the GUTS World Tour film?
It is a filmed concert performance, not a fictional narrative feature. Netflix’s October 29, 2024 explainer says the special was filmed at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles and features songs from Rodrigo’s second album, GUTS, and debut album, SOUR. The page lists a runtime of 1 hour 45 minutes and a TV-MA rating. Netflix credits James Merryman as director and BLINK Inc. as producer, in association with Lighthouse Management + Media and Interscope Films.

Rodrigo described the film as a way for fans who missed the tour to experience it and for attendees to revisit it: “I am so excited to share the GUTS World Tour with my fans. For those of you who didn’t get a chance to rock out in-person, now you can have the best seats in the house! And to the fans who cheered, screamed, and danced with me, I am so glad we get to do it all over again!”

What songs are in the film?
The film includes music from both GUTS and SOUR. Netflix’s explainer does not provide a complete setlist, so a definitive song-by-song list cannot be established from that source. The film is a record of a particular concert performance rather than a guarantee that every song from either album appears.
How did the GUTS World Tour end?
The tour concluded in summer 2025. Official announcements from Live Nation and MGM Resorts give conflicting totals in different passages, without explaining the discrepancy:
Rank #2
- Olivia Rodrigo's record-breaking, multiplatinum debut album, SOUR, was released in 2021 on Geffen Records
| Announcement passage | Tour figures reported |
|---|---|
| Summary passage in the MGM Resorts announcement and the Live Nation announcement | 95 sold-out shows and more than 1.4 million fans |
| Biography passage in those same announcements | 100 sold-out headline shows across 64 cities in more than 21 countries |
Because the announcements do not say why their totals differ, neither figure should be treated as a reconciliation of the other.
What came next for Olivia Rodrigo?
A third album
Universal Music Brasil announced that Rodrigo’s third album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, would be released on June 12, 2026, and said it was recorded with producer Daniel Nigro. The announcement also describes vinyl and collectible physical editions available through UMusic Store; it does not establish current stock, a particular GUTS vinyl pressing, or its price.

The Netflix special offers access to a recorded performance, subject to regional catalog availability. Attending a tour is a ticketed event tied to a confirmed local date and may involve travel as well as ticket costs. Which option is practical depends on where you are, whether the film is available in your Netflix catalog, and whether a suitable show and tickets are available.
