NCIS: Sydney resumed in early March 2026 after its winter hiatus and concluded its third season with a two-part finale on May 12, according to CBS’s episode guide. The official schedule confirms the dates, but neither CBS nor Paramount+ describes the Season 3 calendar as a mistake or says it has been fixed.
When did NCIS: Sydney Season 3 return?
The season premiered in the United States on October 14, 2025, with “Gut Instinct,” which CBS identifies as Season 3, Episode 1. After a winter hiatus, the series resumed in early March 2026. Paramount+ announced a Tuesday, March 3 return, while CBS’s episode guide lists “South of Nowhere,” Episode 9, on March 2. Because the official listings differ by a day, early March is the clearest unqualified description of the return.

Was the schedule a mistake—and has CBS fixed it?
The available official information establishes a premiere, a winter break, a return, and a May finale; it does not establish that CBS called the scheduling a mistake or changed the calendar to correct one. No official explanation in the cited materials attributes the hiatus or episode timing to ratings, audience criticism, or another specific cause. “Fixing” the schedule is therefore an interpretation, not a confirmed network announcement.

Paramount+’s fall 2026 schedule lists NCIS: Sydney Season 4 as a midseason title with its date still to be announced. That is a Season 4 designation, not evidence that the network has confirmed a correction to Season 3’s schedule. Source: Paramount+ fall schedule.
