The lineup is Is It Cake?, Deep Fake Love, and Bullsh*t: The Gameshow. Calling them “dumb” is playful opinion, not a critical consensus.
What makes these three shows so watchable?
Each builds suspense around a question viewers can answer alongside the contestants. Is that object really cake? Is the footage genuine? Does the person answering know the trivia—or merely sound convincing? The formats are very different, but all three make uncertainty part of the game.
| Show | What contestants do | Main hook |
|---|---|---|
| Is It Cake? | Judge whether realistic-looking objects are cakes | Visual recognition and elaborate baking |
| Deep Fake Love | Assess whether images of a partner’s alleged infidelity are genuine or altered | Relationship trust and real-versus-fake judgment |
| Bullsh*t: The Gameshow | Answer trivia correctly or persuade others that a wrong answer is right | Knowledge, confidence, and bluffing |
This is a comparison of their described formats, not a measured ranking of quality or popularity.
Is It Cake?: can you spot the fake?
The premise is a visual guessing game: contestants make cakes that resemble ordinary objects, then try to fool guest judges. Past examples described in BGR’s March 23, 2024 roundup include objects resembling paintings, sneakers, and handbags. The pleasure is in looking closely while the show invites you to doubt what seems obvious.

Netflix’s description, quoted by BGR, said Mikey Day would return as host for season three, with contestants attempting to fool a new lineup of guest judges using hyperrealistic cakes resembling everyday objects. The planned season was reported as eight episodes, scheduled for March 29, 2024. That date is historical, not an upcoming release announcement.
Deep Fake Love: is the evidence real?
This Spanish-language reality competition puts five couples’ trust under pressure. As described by Netflix in the account reproduced by BGR, they assess images presented as evidence of a partner’s infidelity and must judge whether the images are genuine or altered using deepfake technology. The show’s central question is not just what viewers see, but whether they can trust the apparent evidence.

The same description names Cuarzo Producciones (Banijay Iberia) as the producer and states a prize of €100,000. Those are details of the show’s described format, not general figures about Netflix competitions.
Bullsh*t: The Gameshow: confidence can beat knowledge
Hosted by Howie Mandel, this contest lets players climb a money ladder either by answering trivia correctly or by confidently giving a wrong answer and persuading opponents it is right. That twist shifts the suspense from “Do they know?” to “Can they sell it?” A player need not be the smartest person in the room if the bluff holds.
