Where is the story set, and where was it filmed?
The wedding takes place in Thailand. The Associated Press review identifies the destination as Phuket, Thailand, and describes Lana’s reunion with her former college boyfriend Will. That establishes the story’s destination, not a complete production-location itinerary; the available sources do not verify where all filming took place. Netflix’s production logline also places Emma’s wedding in Thailand.

How was the film received?
In a review for the Associated Press, film writer and critic Lindsey Bahr gave the movie 1.5 out of 4 stars. She criticized its contrived, checklist-like romantic-comedy plotting, while noting that Shields and Bratt were ready to play their roles. That is one critic’s assessment, not an overall consensus rating.
