Who Drake selected at RAC Arena
At the Wednesday-night concert, Williams attended with his 14-year-old son Stephen, his girlfriend Coco Flynn, and Flynn’s daughter Morgane. According to PerthNow’s report by Zach Margolius, published 7 February 2025, Drake offered $20,000 to each of two groups of fans and chose the Williams family as one of them.
Williams said the family tried to catch Drake’s eye. He credited Stephen’s excitement with helping draw attention to them, saying, “My son was standing on the chair going crazy, because he really likes the guy, and I was doing my best to make eye contact.” The report says the family appeared on the arena screens after Drake noticed they were together.
What happened after the announcement
Williams told PerthNow that he exchanged details with Drake’s team during the set. Later that evening, he received a text from Drake’s manager saying someone would follow up about payment. The report does not say whether the payment was completed.

Williams said the family might use the money for a holiday and floated the possibility of attending another Drake show overseas. Those were ideas he mentioned, not confirmed plans.
Why the moment changed Williams’s view of Drake
The report described Stephen as a major Drake fan who persuaded his father to attend. Williams said he had not known the songs before the concert but started listening afterward: “I’ve been listening to the songs now afterwards and I didn’t have a clue before that, so there you go, I’ve been converted,” he told PerthNow.
