Localization and a wider channel network
In 2018, the family began aiming at a broader international audience with English captions and more English speech. They also developed separate channels for Diana and Roma and translated or dubbed versions. At the time of its 2022 report, Business Insider said family videos appeared on channels in 20 other languages. It cited 26 million subscribers for a Spanish-language Diana and Roma channel and 23 million for a Hindi-language family channel. Those are dated figures, not current counts.

What does “billions of views a month” establish?
The exact-title Parents article is dated October 7, 2020, and identifies the Diana family. Its headline phrase should be read as a claim associated with that 2020 coverage—not as a current monthly metric. The available reporting does not establish how many monthly views the channels receive in October 2026, or whether the headline’s figure describes one channel or a broader family network. A current view total therefore cannot be inferred from it.
A separate audience milestone is better defined: Business Insider reported that Kids Diana Show reached 100 million subscribers on August 15, 2022. How did the family extend the brand beyond YouTube?
Business Insider reported that the family launched a “Love, Diana” collection at Walmart in 2020. That establishes a retail merchandise effort at the time; it does not establish that those products remain available at Walmart or are currently sold elsewhere.

Family channels built around children raise broader questions about privacy, safety, autonomy, and how earnings are handled. Those questions matter when considering a success story like Kids Diana Show, but they should not be mistaken for proof of harm in this particular family. “One of the secrets of our success and longevity on YouTube is that our kids do not perceive it like work at all. So, they do not learn any lines. They just come and play naturally,” Olena and Volodymyr told Business Insider. That statement describes the parents’ view of their approach; it does not settle wider questions about children’s agency or the long-term effects of having childhood filmed for a public audience.
The profile also said comments had been turned off on children’s content as a platform safety measure. Volodymyr told Business Insider: “It’s crucial for us not only to make our kids feel safe but also to make sure that small viewers could get a positive, inspiring, and learning experience from our channels. And it became easier when the comments had been turned off.” That is his explanation of the change, rather than an independent evaluation of its effects.
