What Kyle Richards said about the breakup
In the Dec. 11, 2025 episode, Richards spoke with costar Erika Jayne about keeping a relationship private. Richards said: “I don’t know what people want from me. I am single now, okay? I was seeing someone who I cared about very much.”

In a confessional, Richards said she had fallen hard for someone after her separation from Mauricio Umansky. She explained: “All the speculation and the gossip and the talking is ultimately what ended it. I could’ve weathered the storm, but this is not for everyone.” That is Richards’s account of why the relationship ended; the episode report does not independently establish the private details.
Did Richards identify the person she was dating?
No. Richards did not disclose the person’s identity in the reported conversation. She also said, “When I’m in love with somebody, I want to share that. I’m an open person like that,” while discussing the tension between openness and privacy.

Why Morgan Wade is part of the conversation
Richards and musician Morgan Wade drew romance rumors in 2023 after Richards appeared in Wade’s “Fall in Love with Me” music video. That earlier speculation is context, not confirmation: the report does not say Wade was the person Richards described in the 2025 episode.
Context: Richards and Mauricio Umansky
The report places Richards’s account after she and Umansky announced their separation in July 2023, following 27 years of marriage. It does not say their divorce was finalized. In an interview ahead of the show’s season 15 premiere, Richards said, “I hope to get married again one day.”
