Kim Kardashian disclosed that she had a “little aneurysm” in her brain in footage tied to the October 2025 Season 7 premiere of The Kardashians. She later said she underwent additional brain scans, but the public reports did not give the aneurysm’s size, location, or clinical outlook.
What Kim Kardashian disclosed
Premiere coverage published October 23, 2025, described footage showing Kardashian looking at a brain scan and inside an MRI machine. In a clip quoted by the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, she said, “There’s like a little aneurysm.” The reporting describes a detected aneurysm; it does not report that she had a rupture. Her follow-up update
In an October 28, 2025 interview with ABC News and Good Morning America, Kardashian said she had undergone a Prenuvo scan and then “tons of other brain scans.” She added, “Tune in next week, but everything works out.” ABC News reported that she did not disclose the extent of the condition. The reports do not specify the aneurysm’s size or precise location, her individual risk assessment, a treatment plan, or a later clinical outcome. Kardashian’s brief remarks should not be read as a detailed medical update.

What doctors say about stress and aneurysms
Dr. Brian Snelling, a cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgeon quoted by CBS News, said stress itself does not create an aneurysm. He said stress can raise blood pressure, which is related to aneurysm formation and growth. That distinction matters: the premiere clip does not establish that stress caused Kardashian’s finding. What an incidental finding means
Many cerebral aneurysms are asymptomatic and can be discovered during imaging done for another reason, according to HealthDay’s report published by Powers Health. That report attributes an estimate of 3% to 5% of Americans having a cerebral aneurysm to the American Heart Association; it is an estimate, not a statement about Kardashian’s personal risk. What the Prenuvo scan does—and does not—show
ABC News described Prenuvo’s scan as MRI-based screening that can detect issues such as aneurysms, but said it is not typically used as a standard medical test. The report said the scan can be booked without a doctor’s order and may cost thousands of dollars, often without insurance coverage. Kardashian’s experience is not evidence that commercial whole-body imaging is appropriate or beneficial for everyone. Anyone concerned about symptoms or personal risk should discuss evaluation with a clinician, who can advise whether imaging is indicated and how results should be followed up.
