The reports covering the trailer do not identify that person or cite independent law-enforcement confirmation of the alleged threat.
What did Kim Kardashian say in the trailer?
PerthNow’s October 7, 2025 report transcribes Kardashian saying, “I got a call from investigators,” followed by: “Someone extremely close to me has put a hit out on my life.” She also says, “I am terrified out of my mind.” These are statements presented in a television trailer, not a publicly released police or court statement. PerthNow’s report attributes the lines to the season seven trailer.
The trailer also includes Kendall Jenner saying, “Everyone’s kind of on edge,” and Kylie Jenner saying she had “heard footsteps walk into my room,” according to PerthNow’s transcription. Those lines convey the family’s unease in the trailer; they do not independently establish what happened or who may have been involved.
Who allegedly put a hit out on Kim Kardashian?
The person is not named in either of the cited October 7, 2025 reports. The available reporting does not support identifying or speculating about a family member, former partner, employee, or anyone else as the alleged source of the threat.

IBTimes UK reported that claims about heightened security came from unnamed sources and had not been independently verified by law enforcement. Its account does not provide public confirmation from investigators of the alleged plot. IBTimes UK’s report should therefore be read as reporting attributed security claims, not as verification of operational details.
What is known about the investigation and security?
Kardashian’s trailer line says she received a call from investigators, but the cited coverage does not identify an investigating agency, publish a statement from law enforcement, or establish the investigation’s findings. Nor does it establish the current status of an investigation or security arrangements as of October 8, 2026.
IBTimes UK’s security details rely on unnamed sources. Without independent confirmation, those descriptions should not be treated as verified facts about Kardashian’s current protection or the steps authorities took.
