The context matters: a roast is a comedy event, and Kardashian’s remarks played with the rumor rather than confirming it. A joke about speculation is not evidence that the supposed relationship happened.
Did Kim Kardashian and Tom Brady date?

Nor do these sources establish their current relationship status. The careful answer is that the rumor resurfaced at the roast, not that the pair were or are a couple.
What did Kardashian’s roast appearance establish?
Netflix Tudum’s preview listed Kardashian among the participants and characterized her material as self-deprecating. Contemporary coverage of the event described her as addressing the dating rumors. Those reports establish that the subject came up in her performance; they do not turn the joke into a relationship confirmation.

Before the event, Brady compared preparing for the roast to playing football: “It’s like a football game. You run with a game plan, and then you get to see kind of how the strategy goes, and then you adjust on the fly,” he told The Associated Press. The comparison describes his approach to the comedy event; it says nothing about the dating rumor.
