The July reports describe Harris entering to the song; they do not establish that Beyoncé attended or performed. The singer’s presence belongs to a different event: a Houston rally on October 25, 2024, where she spoke in support of Harris but did not perform. The Associated Press covered that rally on October 26 (Associated Press).
That distinction matters: the July moment was a campaign walk-in accompanied by a recorded song, while October was an in-person endorsement speech. PolitiFact later found no evidence for a claim that Beyoncé was paid $10 million to speak at the Houston rally; that fact-check concerns the October event and does not establish the terms of the July song use (PolitiFact).
