Khloé Kardashian says she and her sisters do not routinely Venmo one another for shared expenses. Instead, they take turns paying—a casual arrangement she illustrated with a school-shirt purchase and a separate example involving Christmas-party accessories. The report does not establish a wealth gap between the sisters or quantify what anyone paid.
How do the Kardashian sisters split bills?
In a Jan. 7, 2026 report, E! News quoted Khloé describing an informal rotation: “Me and my sisters do not Venmo each other, but we always take turns,” Khloe, 41, explained. She also said, “I would never go with one of my sisters and expect for them to always pay.”

That describes taking turns over time, not dividing every purchase into equal shares or settling each expense immediately. Khloé characterized the approach as respectful.
What happened when Kim needed school shirts?
Khloé’s example involved shirts the children needed for school Spirit Fridays at a shop that accepted cash. Kim did not have cash with her, so Khloé paid. Kim offered to repay her through a business manager, but Khloé declined; E! reports that Kim later offered to buy Khloé something in return.

The anecdote illustrates how one sister might cover a cost in the moment and the other reciprocate later. It does not give the shirts’ price or show that the sisters calculated an exact balance.
Did the family share Christmas-party costs?
E! also reported that Khloé had said in a December podcast episode that the family split the cost of accessories for its annual Christmas party. The report gives neither the total budget nor individual contributions, so it does not show whether that expense was divided evenly or handled through the same turn-taking arrangement.

What does the report establish about wealth?
The account describes a family practice, not a financial comparison. It provides no figures for the sisters’ relative wealth, any wealth gap, or their shares of the party costs. The headline framing of “huge wealth gaps” is therefore not supported by the reported examples; it should not be treated as an explanation for why they handle expenses this way.

Khloé’s comments are her description of how her family handles certain shared costs. They are not evidence that the arrangement is a universal recommendation or that it works the same way in other households. The examples show informal reciprocity, but do not spell out how the sisters agree on what counts as a shared expense or what happens when costs differ substantially.
