Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos spent a recent winter break on vacation with their three children—and each child’s partner. The couple said the larger family group got along well, turning a trip they had wondered about into a welcome surprise.
Who joined the vacation?
People reported on January 8, 2024, that Ripa and Consuelos had recently vacationed with their daughter, Lola, and sons, Michael and Joaquin. All three brought partners: the sons brought girlfriends, and Lola brought her boyfriend. People also reported that the group stayed in separate rooms, without specifying the type of accommodation.
The January 8 date is the date of the report and the couple’s show discussion—not a confirmed date for the vacation. The coverage does not identify the destination, exact travel dates or lodging arrangement.
What Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos said
During their January 8 discussion on Live with Kelly and Mark, Consuelos joked about the expanded group: “And their significant others. That was really weird!” He immediately clarified, “No, it was great, it was great. I never thought it would happen.”

Ripa said she had wondered how everyone would get along after meeting the partners over dinner: “We didn’t know how it was going to go, you know what I mean? You just don’t know. Everybody seems nice when you have dinner with them, but how’s it going to go?” She said the family got along, adding, “It was so nice.” She also praised the partners’ taste: “I have to say, our kids have such good taste.”
