Did Dunne’s social-media posts cause the rejection?
That has not been established. Dunne said she did not know why the board rejected her application. In a public video, she speculated that the board might not want a public figure in the building and joked, “For all I know, they could have been Alabama fans and I went to LSU.” Those were her guesses, not an explanation from the board. How Dunne described the co-op setback
Dunne said, “The co-op board denied me.” She also joked about the experience: “Long story short, don’t try to live in a co-op. You might get denied and you won’t get Babe Ruth’s apartment.” Her comments describe her experience; they do not reveal why this particular board rejected her application.
