Her remarks came as she reflected on filming a dramatized scene for the “Rebound” sequence; she did not name anyone involved.
What did Jennifer Lopez say?
Lopez spoke about past relationship experiences while discussing the physical intensity of filming the “Rebound” sequence. Us Weekly reported her saying: “Being thrown around and manhandled like that is not fun.”
She then clarified the distinction she wanted to make: “I mean, I was never in a relationship where I got beat up like that, but I’ve definitely been manhandled, and there’s been a couple of unsavory things.”
In a separate report, Just Jared described her characterizing the conduct as “rough” and “disrespectful.” The comments were made in the context of her This Is Me… Now project.

How the remarks relate to the “Rebound” scene
The documentary’s discussion followed filming a dramatized “Rebound” sequence in which Lopez’s character is grabbed and thrown against a glass wall. That action is part of the fictional scene; it is not evidence of a particular real-life incident. Lopez connected the physical experience of filming with her reflections on past relationships, but those are separate parts of the account.
Did Lopez identify a former partner?
No. The reports do not say Lopez named a person or people. They also do not establish which relationship she was referring to, so assigning her remarks to a particular former partner would go beyond what was reported.
