No. Reports about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s May 30, 2024 appearance say they arrived together at a party celebrating Violet Affleck’s graduation, but TMZ said they were not holding hands in the arrival photos. The gathering was a party, not necessarily Violet’s graduation ceremony.
What happened at Violet Affleck’s graduation party?
Us Weekly reported that Lopez and Affleck were spotted together at a celebration for Violet on Thursday, May 30, 2024, walking side by side. TMZ also described them arriving together at the Los Angeles party. Marie Claire’s May 31 recap likewise reported their joint arrival, attributing the photos to the Daily Mail.
TMZ’s account directly disputes the hand-holding claim: it said the pair “weren’t exactly holding hands” in the arrival photos. Being pictured together or walking close to one another does not establish that they held hands.
Was this Violet’s graduation ceremony?
The reports concern a graduation party, not necessarily the ceremony itself. Us Weekly said Violet had graduated earlier in May and that Jennifer Garner was at the ceremony; it said it was unclear whether Affleck attended it. The joint appearance with Lopez was reported at the later party on May 30.
