Liv Morgan’s public interviews document years of wrestling and athletic training, but they do not establish a measured body transformation. There are no published before-and-after measurements, body-fat figures or verified weight-change timeline in the sources cited here. What they do show is how her training accounts have evolved from strength work and ring practice to a later mix of circuits, weights and recovery.
What does the public record show about Liv Morgan’s body transformation?
Morgan’s documented story is one of athletic development for professional wrestling, not a quantified weight-loss or physique program. WWE says she was discovered at Joe DeFranco’s Gym in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and began training at the WWE Performance Center in October 2014. Its profile lists her height as 5 feet 3 inches, but does not publish body-composition measurements. WWE’s 2016 profile and her current WWE profile support her training background, not a specific amount of weight lost or muscle gained.
That distinction matters: a change in appearance cannot be translated into a reliable weight, body-fat percentage or timeline without measurements. The available accounts support describing Morgan’s reported training, but not claiming that a particular routine or diet caused a measured transformation.
How did Liv Morgan get in shape?
Morgan’s path began with wrestling development. WWE’s 2016 account places her discovery at DeFranco’s Gym before her Performance Center training began in October 2014. DeFranco’s Gym later published an interview episode about how she found the gym, her first session, her WWE tryout and her development there; its episode notes do not provide body measurements or a quantified outcome. The 2019 DeFranco’s Gym episode adds context to that early training history.

In an interview published around 2023, Morgan described a routine that combined lifting and athletic conditioning. She said, “I train 5-6 days a week in the gym, performing a mix of traditional powerlifting and plyometrics.” She also described turning workouts into circuits, limiting long rests and finishing sessions with five sets of as many jump-rope jumps as possible. This is Morgan’s account at that time, not confirmation of her current schedule. Muscle and Health’s interview also records her emphasis on maintaining range of motion while lifting.
Why ring practice matters
Morgan said she had a wrestling ring at home for practicing movements and running the ropes. She explained, “There’s no cardio that can prepare you for 20 minutes in the ring, so to have the real thing in which I can simulate movements and run the ropes has been a game changer for me.” That comment frames her conditioning around wrestling’s specific demands rather than appearance alone.

What workout routine did Liv Morgan describe in 2025?
In a report published January 3, 2025, Sports Illustrated’s Takedown quoted Morgan describing a later training snapshot: “I like doing circuits, I do a lot of cardio circuits mixed with weight training. I’ll do like five rounds of four-to-five workouts six days a week.” That account gives a frequency and circuit format, but it does not identify a complete exercise list or establish that the schedule is still current.
The report also described Morgan’s recovery practices, including use of a sauna and a massage chair with LED red lights. She said, “I feel like recovery is just as important as you know the workout aspect and the conditioning aspect.” These are practices she discussed in that 2025 report; they are not evidence of a specific physical result. How do her reported routines compare over time?
| Interview snapshot | Frequency and format | Wrestling-specific work | Recovery details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Muscle and Health, published about 2023 | Morgan said she trained five to six days a week, mixing powerlifting, plyometrics and circuits; she described ending sessions with five sets of maximum jump-rope jumps. | She said she practiced movements and ran the ropes in a home ring. | Not stated in this account. |
| Sports Illustrated’s Takedown, January 3, 2025 | Morgan described five rounds of four to five exercises, six days a week, mixing cardio circuits with weight training. | The report showed her training space and ring, but the quoted routine does not specify ring practice. | She mentioned a sauna and a massage chair with LED red lights. |
These are two dated personal accounts, not a standardized training log. The differences in detail should not be read as proof of a dramatic change in her body or as a complete record of every phase of training.
What has Liv Morgan said about her diet?
In an iHeart podcast transcript, Morgan discussed an approximately 70/30 approach to eating and said WWE’s developmental system provided suggestions and tools, including help with meal preparation and macros. She also described that support as distinct from an ongoing prescribed diet for main-roster talent. This is an interview account, not an independently verified meal plan, and it does not establish what she currently eats or link a specific diet to a measured body change. Did Liv Morgan lose weight?
The sources cited here do not document a quantified weight loss, body-fat change or before-and-after measurement. WWE’s height listing alone cannot substantiate any of those claims. It is fair to say that Morgan has described years of strength, conditioning and ring training; it is not supported to assign her a number of pounds lost, a body-fat percentage or a specific timeline.
