A Perth man’s handmade, life-sized Michael Jackson doll was listed on Facebook Marketplace for $100, according to a PerthNow report published on 9 January 2024. The report described the listing as posted three days earlier; it does not establish whether the doll sold or whether it is still available.
What the handmade Michael Jackson doll looked like
PerthNow described the one-off doll as plastic and hand-sewn to life size. It was fully clothed and came with a wig and sunglasses, with its look modeled on Michael Jackson at the 2006 MTV Awards. The report did not identify the maker or specify the doll’s exact height, weight, materials beyond plastic, or how it was constructed. (PerthNow, 9 January 2024)
What price was the seller asking?
The Facebook Marketplace listing was asking $100 when PerthNow covered it. The seller reportedly said he had initially considered “maybe $200 or $300” but was unsure whether that would be an appropriate price. Those figures reflect the reported asking price and the seller’s uncertainty—not an appraisal, a confirmed sale price, or a reliable estimate of the doll’s value today. (PerthNow, 9 January 2024)
Did the doll sell, and is it still available?
PerthNow did not report whether the doll sold. Its article is a January 2024 account of a Marketplace listing, not confirmation that the listing remains active. The report also does not independently verify the original Marketplace post or provide a later update, so its sale status and current availability are unknown. (PerthNow, 9 January 2024)
