KFC’s Hot Rods are listed on the chain’s Australian menu, but the widely reported limited-time return ran from April 16 to May 13, 2024, and has ended. The current listing does not confirm that a particular restaurant has them in stock, so check your selected location before ordering.
What are KFC Hot Rods?
Hot Rods are spicy fried chicken served on a stick with aioli, according to PerthNow’s April 16, 2024 report. PerthNow said the item first launched in 2007 and was temporarily brought back in 2021 before its 2024 return.

The 2024 promotion ran from Tuesday, April 16, through Monday, May 13, at participating KFC restaurants in Australia. South Australia was excluded from that offer. Those dates describe the past promotion, not a current end date.
