Southern Charm alum Ashley Jacobs has since built a family life in California with her husband, Mike Appel, and their two sons. Bravo reported that she returned to California and resumed nursing after leaving the show, but available coverage does not confirm whether she currently works as a nurse or identify an employer.
What Ashley Jacobs is doing now
Bravo’s April 2025 update described Ashley and her family as living in Santa Barbara, California. She and Mike Appel have two sons: their first was born in 2021, and Bravo reported the arrival of their second son in early November 2024. In a February 19, 2026 report, EntertainmentNow covered newer photos of Ashley with Mike and their children.
Those updates offer a picture of her family life, but they do not establish a current job or a new career announcement. Bravo reported that Ashley returned to California and resumed nursing after her time on Southern Charm; that is a post-show account, not confirmation that she is practicing today.
Her life after Southern Charm
Ashley appeared in Seasons 5 and 6 of the Bravo series. After leaving the show, she returned to California. Bravo’s 2025 retrospective said she met Mike in Santa Barbara in 2019; they married in 2021, the year their first son, Grayson Maxwell Appel, was born.

Bravo reported in December 2024 that Ashley had announced the birth of the couple’s second son, after his early-November arrival. The outlet quoted her message: “Our hearts have never been so full.”

Ashley’s time on the show was brief, but it made an impression on producer and cast member Whitney Sudler-Smith. In a Bravo interview published January 1, 2025, he recalled that the series had begun to feel stale before she arrived: “Season 5, we were getting stale [and] suddenly out of nowhere comes Ashley. Riveting television.”
