What happens in Episode 8?
Gray meets Juvina
The episode opens around Fairy Nail, a talent guild whose members resemble the Fairy Tail guild. Gray meets Juvina, who looks like Juvia. He spends time with her, but the encounter brings Juvia to mind.
The party reaches Drasil
As they pursue clues about Aldoron, the Wood Dragon God, Natsu’s group arrives in Drasil. The official synopsis describes it as the largest city on the continent of Guiltina.

An earthquake interrupts their rest
During a short break, the ground suddenly shakes. The synopsis teases that the episode will disclose Drasil’s astonishing secret, but it does not name the secret or explain what caused the shaking. A more specific claim about the reveal or the quake’s cause is not confirmed by that synopsis.
Is Drasil’s secret revealed in the official episode synopsis?
No. The official synopsis says the city has an astonishing secret, but stops short of identifying it. That makes the quake and the promised revelation the episode’s cliffhanger setup; the synopsis alone does not establish the answer or provide a scene-by-scene account of the ending. The broadcaster’s shorter TV Osaka listing also confirms the Fairy Nail encounter, the arrival in Drasil, and the sudden shaking.
How does Episode 8 fit into the series?
The official series site presents 100 Years Quest as a sequel that continues after Fairy Tail. Natsu’s party takes on a legendary quest that had remained unfinished for more than a century.
Do not confuse anime Episode 8 with manga Chapter 8. Kodansha’s K MANGA listing identifies its Chapter 8 as “A Dragon God’s Melancholy,” released April 16, 2023. That is a separate installment; the available listings do not establish a chapter-to-episode mapping or a specific manga volume corresponding to this episode.
